What about Covid-19? YMHC is very optimistic that hockey will take place next fall, but we don’t have a crystal ball. We are committed to offering hockey in a safe environment and will comply with all guidelines from Hockey Canada, GTHL, the Ontario government and City of Toronto regarding COVID-19. Should the season be partially or fully canceled, applicable refunds will be made.

House League Schedule: The proposed house league schedule is now posted. Much time and consideration has been put into making the schedule for the 2021-22 season, with some flexibility. However, please note that the schedule could be subject to change. We will do everything possible to keep the game and practice days as currently posted on YMHC.ca.

General House League Schedule:  To review the current general house league schedule please - Click Here.  All house league games are played Monday to Thursday.

House League Fees: In recognition of the challenges resulting from COVID-19 YMHC advises that registration fees across all house league programs continue to be reduced.

For the 2021 / 2022 season, provided you register before September 1st, 2021 the YMHC house league fees are as follows: U7 to U14: $675 (reduced from $725 / includes practice); U15 to U18: $550 (reduced from $600) and Learn to Play: $275 (reduced form $325).  For late registrations (except Learn to Play), made on or after September 1, 2021 the fees increases by $25.

In order to guarantee participation in hockey this October, and to secure your $25 discounted registration fee, you must formally register using the new HCR 3.0 system starting Wednesday June 23, 2021.  The guaranteed registration period will run between Wednesday, June 23 and Sunday, June 27, 2021.  If you delay formal registration until after June 27, 2021 your registration with YMHC is not guaranteed and the discounted registration fee will no longer be offered. The YMHC house league pre-registration fees for U7-U14 is $650, U15-U18 is $525 and Lean to Play is $275/fall and $275/winter sessions. The Learn to Play fee has been reduced from $325/session.

Respect in Sport Parent Program:  Commencing with the 2016 / 2017 season the Ontario Hockey Federation mandated that at least one parent / guardian of all players (house league, select and rep) must complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program. This mandate means that players may not participate in any YMHC on ice activity (try-out / practice / game) until this requirement has been completed. In connection with the 2020 / 2021 season this requirement applies only to parents / players who have never previously participated in the GTHL or completed same with YMHC. For more information – Please Click Here.

Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity:  Commencing with the 2017 / 2018 season, the Ontario Hockey Federation mandated that all bench staff associated with house league, select and rep play must take a new mandatory training module to support trans-inclusive hockey in Ontario - Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression. This is a one time (not annual) requirement. To take this course - please click here.

Rowan's Law:  On July 1, 2019 the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport mandated that every player and bench staff must read and acknowledge Rowan's Law in order to participate in organized sport. For more information - please click here.
